Kindness and empathy,thepleasantsimpleguy
The only weapons you will ever need.
Silence is a blessing . . .thepleasantsimpleguy
Solitude is healing.
In a far off place I had drifted, I realizedthepleasantsimpleguy
When in my bed I awoke, drenched in anguish
For my heart, I had exchanged for stone
What better way, to remain in this world?
Where is your heart, the mighty sun askedthepleasantsimpleguy
A strange man I see before me it said
Why do you roam with a cavity in your chest?
I looked down at myself and lo! A void I saw
I came upon a graceful throne made of bluethepleasantsimpleguy
Atop which I saw the sun in its splendor
To gaze upon the luminous star I tried
But instead, thoroughly I was measured
The twisting stairway that extendedthepleasantsimpleguy
Led me to the most incredible field
No green grass, nor tall trees grew there
But a field of silver clouds it was
I took a stroll outside todaythepleasantsimpleguy
The mighty sun, I yearned to see
Through a lengthy stone street I found
The golden gateway to the horizon
In the timeless forest of my memorythepleasantsimpleguy
I await for a long night
Maybe the north star will reveal itself
And guide me to my road?
Or perhaps it was a thoughtthepleasantsimpleguy
A mere creation of the mind . . .
I think of abandoning my search
Should I sift my heart instead?
Oh! I have been searchingthepleasantsimpleguy
Long forgotten and lost
Clad in abundant verdure,
Does it not want to be tread?
